I know *.htm and *.html files should be associated with Pocket IE.
The problem is that I installed a e-book reader software which changed the file associations of htm and html files. I found that the e-book reader is not good so I uninstalled it, however, the htm and html files association are not working anymore. I tried to use Resco Explorer to change the association to \Windows\iexplore.exe but when I try to open those htm and html files, File Explorer is opened and hang up. Any ideas for this problem?

Try a "Fake" Hard Reset; Press Reset + Power to instigate a Hard Reset > When it asks you if you really wanna do it > Press the indicated Hard Button to Cancel > Axim will go through the Setup Screens, but you will not have lost anything loaded.
....worth a shot.
....'cause the next suggestion's gonna be a Real Hard Reset.

I think I will try PocketTweak first, but I don't have a BT or sync cable in my office, I am going to try it when I go back to home.
Actually, I have a backup file created at last month. I don't want to restore from that because it's a little old backup. However, If these methods are still not working, I may recover from that because I really don't want a hard reset :(
Check .URL file extensions in the registry too!

I had a similar problem with NETFRONT. But remember that the problem may be with HTML files or URL (link) files.
NetFront replaced some registry entries for .URL file extensions with it's own. See this page for help getting them back to their defaults. I used Resco Registry editor to fix mine.
