In a related question, can anybody tell me how to select the pop up suggested word from the DEll BT keyboard when typing without having to touch it with the stylus? I am usually wailing away on the keyboard and stopping to grab the stylus an touch the word is slower than just typing out the whole thing. You would think that tab would work, but no such luck. The DEll BT keyboard has shortcuts for almost everything including shutting off the unit, which drive me crazy once in a while when I hit it by mistake, lol.

Ok my x30h does not add words that I have used repeatedly.
I have gone into settings/input/word recognition, and it is checked I have after 2 letters and 4 words to appear.
It still does not add commonly used words that I enter.
Is there something I am missing???

hmm... good question
sorry i can't help, but you helped me out! it was driving me crazy that the first letter was being capitalized and until you mentioned setting/input/word recognition i didn't know how to fix that :approve:

this got my curiousity piqued...
i went to Word and started typing out words that i knew weren't in the dictionary (like electroencephalogram, cardiomyopathy etc)
i then did a spell check and added them
when i went to Notes and Tasks and started typing those words, i got word recognition popups!

Yeah but it deletes them after you do a software reset

I use ABC Editor from KAIsoft. my saved words appear first in the list of available words.

but this answers your question admirably. I downloaded Alex Feinman's (free) program, works a treat (but saves as all lower case) and I can confirm changes DO survive a soft reset. I have for example entered my email address in full which is for me a real boon.
