I don't think there is one that mimics the Windows Task Bar, but I could be wrong. There are many different task managers out there, Magic button being one of them.
Best Regards,

I recommend Magic Button as well (its free!). It adds a desktop icon to the bar at the top which essentially minimizes all open apps.

Yep, Magic Button is your answer - it realy closes all the apps but you can also config it to minimize , plus it ads an icon of the background running app on the t bar. Very good prog, you dont have to install all those huge today screen managers, ahh and as it's been said it's free ....

I use Battery Pack Pro which comes with Program Bar. It adds a OK button and a pull down arrow on the most right corner of the screen and from there you can see running programs, close them or move between them.
If you get dead silence after breaking the speed of sound, would you be in the darkness after passing the speed of light?

The X without those other programs minimizes programs right now, not to the taskbar but to the start menu. THe other options do have more functions though and are all good choices
