SSH port forwarding and Inbox

I'm checking out PockeTTY to see if I can use it to allow Inbox to access my company email, which resides behind a firewall. I have, with the help of a coworker, managed to set up SSH port forwarding on my laptop to do that, which entails telling my email client to use "localhost" as my POP3 and SMTP server, and SSH forwards those ports to the firewall system with instructions on what system behind the firewall should ultimately receive the traffic.

Has anyone configured PockeTTY and Inbox to do the same? Is it pretty much the same setup? In particular, does Inbox recognize "localhost" as being the name of my PPC, or is there some other syntax needed to use the ports PockeTTY is providing? Anything I need to do special for PockeTTY port forwarding? I'm just barely beyond the neophyte level for SSH and haven't yet really dug into the PockeTTY documentation on this, so I may be asking blindingly obvious questions; sorry.

Thanks in advance for any help.

This obviously isn't a popular topic, but just in case anyone else happens to stumble over this thread, I thought I should follow up my own question with the answer I found out: yes, it works essentially just like the laptop version. The port forwarding screen has three fields: the local port, the remote server, and the remote port. I set up ports 25 and 110 on the Axim to forward to ports 25 and 110 on the server behind the firewall and then in Messaging (aka "Inbox") I set "localhost" as both the POP3 and SMTP server, and everything works great. The only glitch was that somehow Messaging set up the account as connecting to "Work" instead of "Internet," so the first time I tried to connect, it failed saying that I needed to use a VPN. When I changed the account connection to "Internet," everything worked great.

Here's a plug for PockeTTY: I run it in OzVGA landscape with the font set to 12-point Courier, and it looks great. With the GoAmo VGA keyboard and PockeTTY, I'm a pretty happy camper.
