Install in ROM
Hi,
I have a X50 and noticed that the default installation path of softwares is in Ram. Why??? Would it not be better to install new applications in the ROM? Is it possible? Thanks

It is just the default location for windows mobile...
They assume that you will keep you documents and stuff in the filestore, have no external cards, and install everything into RAM. Just change it when you install...it's a minor thing, and we all do it.

I think the default location is in RAM because some programs work only when installed in RAM (some today plugins, etc). For the average newbie user, it's easier to just answer yes to whatever he wants to install.
