My new axim x 30 has crashed
My axim is the grand old age of 4 days. I have had my first system crash. I am slightly worried about this as I wasn't doing much at the time. When I got it started it just said I had 'memory error', or something like that, to be honest I was so paniced at the time I did take full note of the message, but memory was mentioned.

Is this something serious to worry about?

I had installed the following:

Avantgo
IEplus
simpleSMS
spb pocketplus

Could be anything. It's a Windows system so expect SOME instability. Especially once you start loading up 3rd party apps.

As a rule - I soft reset (reset button) my PDA every day or two. Clears out the application memory just like a Windows reboot.

IF it is a persistent problem then further troubleshooting would be required.

And since you're a new user, you realize that the "X" button doesn't really close any application, right? You need a second-hand application for that.

I currently like Magic Button (look in MyPDA for the link)

And Howard2K is 100% right...it's a good idea to reset every few days anyway. Your PDA will "reboot" in less than a minute.

I like psshutXP for that function as well (again, linked in MyPDA).

Good luck.
