Networking Help Needed
I have the excellent x50v with 802.11b... Connecting to the internet is a breeze, but making a successful connection to my VPN at work from home is bizarre. First off, I have no problem connecting to the VPN using my winxp notebook. I'm baffled by the odd behavior of the "networks" that can be selected for internet and VPN traffic under the "settings" tab in the control panel. If I want to RDP intoJmy machine at work, I need to VPN. Same if I need to pull up a Network Share. Sync with Exchange... You catch my drift. I've tried every combination I can think of, but I can't get anything but PIE to go through the VPN. Of course I've googled everything I can think of...

Please help!

Did you ever get this working? I too am having difficulty connecting to my network at the office. I need to fire up the VPN connection then terminal service into my machines. Can't figure out how to do it with the AXIM yet...

Never got it working... But, I concluded in my research that one would probably have to set up your "Work" network to proxy through the Windows Server. It's a shame, but the PDA will not function as a VPN device unless it is completely tethered to a Windows Server. Very ugly. Our Windows servers don't set out on the internet. They have a standards compliant IPSec VPN server which handles traffic into and out of a VPN.

There's no standards compliant IPSec client available for Windows Mobile so far as I can tell. If you can find one, (reasonably priced) let me know.
