How to make shortcuts

How do you make shortcuts to programs and files on the today/start screen?

Open up file explorer and located the application file you want.

Tap and hold, to get the popup menu. Select copy.

Then navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\ and then tap and hold to get the popup menu and select paste shortcut.
