Hi guys,

I'm now on my 3rd hard reset, having experimented on a couple of programmes and hacks etc. I would be grateful if someone could tell me the function of the following startup programmes:

odClientCeAutoLaunchSmart.exe (can't delete it cos it comes back after every soft reset. What's it supposed to do?)

wirelessIcon.lnk (Wireless icon on the bottom right of screen. Again, comes back after each soft reset.)

Bluetooth?.lnk (Bluetooth icon, you can delete that, and it won't come back.)

SplashV.lnk (Don't know what that is. nothing happens if yuo delete that... any idea what it does though?)

poutlook.lnk (Don't think it affected the PDA after deleting, but can't verify...)

Next question is startup service. The only one loaded is OBEXSrVr.dll What does taht do?

Now with each soft resetl my mem is as follow, Storage 4.25mb used, 21.39Mb Free, Programme 12.96Mb used, 23.14Mb Free. Not bad considering I have quite a few software loaded, namely:

BatteryPackPro
Pocket Weather
Pocket Breeze
1-calc
1-Pass
GPS driver
TomTOm3
Resco Explorer
MemMaid

All installed into BIS.

OBEXSrVr.dll is for infra-red services
If you delete this you won't be bale to use the infra-red port in your device.
