You went into input method and couldn't find anything?
It is the very first thing you see when you open it from the settings menu.

If you want to change the default input methid - even after a soft reset - then you will need a registry tweaks programme.
I use Tweaks2K2 - linked in my MyPDA on the left.

Here's how to do it in the registry.
1. :attention Backup your registry. I'm not responsible for any mistakes or errors or etc!!!!! Read through all the steps before changing anything and make sure you understand it! :attention
2. You need a registry editor (there are free ones out there, such as PHM tools)
3. Use the search/find function and look for the word IsSIPInputMethod in Keys.
4. Click on the {#X#X#X#X#} key above it. And see if the Default says the name of the program (such as SPB Full Screen Keyboard or something like that)
5. Once you found the correct key, copy down the {#X#X#X#X#} onto a piece of paper.
6. Navigate to HKCU\ControlPanel\Sip and under the key DefaultIm put int the {#X#X#X#X#} that you wrote on the piece of paper as the value.
7. Click OK.
8. Softreset

it worked, but not good. ripboard is soposed to stretch from one end of the screen to thw other. but with this hack, part of it is off the screen and there is white space on one side. To fix, i need to press the arrow and reopen the keyboard, eliminating the purpose of the hack. Anyone know how to fix this for ripboard?

Copy/past doesn't work. Try it yourself! (at least not in PHM registry editor)
