Where in the Axim X50v can I find whether I am running WM2003 or WM2003SE? The cd that was sent with the Axim showed WM2003SE but I have been unable to find a screen in the Axim that shows that to me?

im preety sure all of them have se

yes all of the x50v's have the se version.but you could go to the control panel and look in 'About' and it will tell you for sure

My axim x3 says Microsoft Pocket PC version 4.20.1081
So I don't have windows mobile 2003?

Look for a screen rotation option- if it will rotate it it se....otherwise, not.

4.20.1081 is the version of WinCE that forms the underlying system for WM03 (so you do have WM03). I believe WM03SE is WinCE 4.21.1088
