Bluetooth Modem w/ Tmobile USA
The setup is simple enough -- use my Nokia 6600 as a bluetooth modem to connect to Tmobile USA's GPRS network. I know it can be done as I have seen it done. However, I don't have access to that machine to basically steal all the settings.
The details: I am trying to connect via two different methods. Once is with a GPRS PCMCIA card , the Sony Ericsson GC82. The other is via bluetooth on both my laptop and my Dell Axim to the Bluetooth modem and go from there. On all three of these, I am able to connect. I enter no username nor password and dial the number *99#. On my Nokia 6600, I can see when the modem is connected and it does show that I am connected. It also shows a crude traffic monitor which shows data goes out, but I am not able to download back in. If I switch to the in phone browser, everything works so its not for a lack of GPRS connection. In fact, when the Axim or the Laptop connect, the phone does show that there is a GPRS connection taking place. Just nothing happens. I don't mean its slow. I mean NOTHING happens. I have used the generic info to fill in the gaps from sites like http://www.jjeff.com/archive/2004/1..._the_nokia.html | |||
