How to re-establish a missing a program link?
Hello,
After I installed a program on my X50 (with A03 firmware and WM2003SE), it appeared under the program listing. I had no problem running it from there. Recently (yesterday), I switched the battery (a fully charged one) and for some reason I could not power up the PDA. So, I plugged in the wall power and the PDA came up but it appeared it went through a cold start and I lost installed program on the program listing. Luckily, the installed program was installed on the SD card. It was there and I could execute it from the SD card. The question I have here is How do I put a link back into the program listing so I can launch from there. Thanks.....

Using file explorer, navigate to the program's executable. Tap and hold the file, choose copy.
Navigate to the \windows\startmenu\Pograms folder. Tap and hold an empty area of the screen, choose paste shortcut. That's how ou create a shortcut ![]()

That may or may not work. Sometimes when programs are installed, certain information get stored in the registry. Since you had to hard-reset, the registry would be wiped and it may not work properly. If it doesn't you'll have to re-install again.
