Cannot load pic file from PC to X30

Hi everyone
I have just bought my 1st Axim X30.
I have Win 2000
I have the X30 in the cradle connected to USB
I have MS Active Sync loaded
It says it is synchronised

My computer sees the mobile device

When I try to drag a pic file (jpg)from PC using windows
explorer into the My Pics folder on the X30, an image
circle with line through(the no entry sign) appears over the x30 folder.
The file cannot be loaded into My Pictures on the X30

On the other hand , I have created new directories in the Storage Card Directory from the PC in the X30
A drag and drop from the PC to the Storage directory also gets the No entry sign

I have Zone Alarm, plus a small network using a Belkin Router

The answer or a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hal

With your X30 conected and synchronised via ActiveSync, click on the Explore icon. Then click on the "My (Windows Mobile) Device" icon at the top left hand corner. Locate yourt "My Pictures" folder and open it. Then find the *.jpg file on your Desktop PC using Windows\Explorer. Drag and drop might work but I prefer to right click on the file to be transferred and select Copy, then right click in the PDA folder to which you wish to transfer the file and select Paste.
