Emulators
Is there an emulator for the windows mobile that is on the pocket pcs? I just want to see how it looks on my PC. I dont want developing tools. I just want to be able to see how the entire OS looks like.
Thanks. | |||

I think there might be in the developer area of microsoft. emulators run really slow though. you'd be better off looking at a device at a store.

You can try the Windows Mobile 5 SDK here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en or the Windows Pocket PC 2003 SDK here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Their idea of "emulator" is different than everyone elses. The emulator is ONLY for software development, you can't use it to try ARM applications or anything else. Any software that you want to try with the "emulator" has to be developed for the emulator.
If you just wanted to see how Windows PPC looked then the emulator is your only solution however it's a large download because you do have to download a lot of extra stuff to get it to work.
