what's this NX.exe
Memmain reports a process running on my x50v (A03) called NX.EXE (0 bytes).
I've not noticed it bofore. A google search looks a bit worrying - talks of a keylogger !?!
anyone know ehat it might be?
Thanks
Paul.

Hi Tancerman, Good to know I'm not alone. I work for the world's #4 anti-virus company, and I get paranoid about any processes I don't understand. When google talks about keylogging, I get really worried - particularly as I use my axim for banking......
Any know what NX.EXE is???
P.

This is true - However it has to start somewhere - like I say I'm in the industry and I see how fast it moves....anyone else have this process running?
I uxse RDcalc, memmaid, dell GPS, msn messenger, total commander, beta player, ie -- that's about it

I don't know if you saw my edit above, but I don't have a process called NX.EXE, I do have one called NK.EXE.

LOL -- you're right - it's late - I've got NK.exe (can't read!!). Well that's a relief - I've just changed all my banking logons :)
Like I say I'm paranoid!! Thanks tancerman. So what's NK.EXE - memmaid doesn't want to terminate it......
Seriously though, I'm sure it won't be long before PPC viruses are commonplace.....

Kernel and it is a required system process. We all have it running.

So - out of interest, does anyone run any AV software on their PPC - I don't, but probably should given my level of paranoia......
Best

nope. i think that if the pda didn't have a built in way of restoring and removing all files (hard reset) of this sort, i might think about it but for no way
