Anybody familiar with the I-mate JAM. I think it's the best all-in-one ppc around. However, it's not perfect. It has windows 2003 2nd edition, would love to see an upgrade to 2005. I've upgraded the ROM OS, cause I was told it would improve the hands-free speaker and ear pad speaker volume and clarity. It didn't. To get a ringtone that works for me I recorded a ringtone from a Motorola i90c that sounds like an Ambulance horn. It works. Question, If that ringtone is loud enough to hear from a short distance then why isn't the hands free speaker loud enough. I have about 250 contacts stored in memory and most of the apps I have downloaded is on a 1 GB storage card. I still have to re-charge the battery every evening. Is this normal. I'm not much of a tech support type and I'm still learning about the JAM, any help would be great.
