Changing Resolution

I was in Resco Image Viewer and set a picture as my wallpaper. The pic was 800x 600. Of course, I cannot see the whole pic on the wallpaper. However, I think it messed up my resolution. When I switch back to a normal today screen, it is all jacked up. Ideas on how to fix it?

It only seems to work now with Today screens that have images.

After I set background to image.

WindowsMobileOrange after switching back from image. It's like the screen doesn't redraw properly. Please help.

Fixed it - the hard way

I upgraded from A01 to A04 and it appears to be back to normal.

Any idea how I can reset the resolution if I should have a lapse in memory and accidentally do the same stupid thing again?

All I can figure is Windows Mobile Orange isn't a VGA theme so maybe a soft-reset after switching back from a picture would fix it.

Did you try a soft-reset the first time?

Maybe. But not even Dell's default today screen worked right. I couldn't see the Dell sphere. Looked like I needed to scroll, but there were no scroll bars. As I mentioned above, upgrading to A04 fixed it. But does that mean I shouldn't try setting a picture to my wallpaper? I guess not--at least not without resizing it first.

Thanks!

Okay I follow you now. So if Resco did somehow change the apparent resolution you should be able to use Resco to fix it by using a 640X480 image.

I still think a soft-reset would have fixed it though. Soft-resets are our friends on Pocket PC's. They fix a multitude of aliments.
