Number of Recently Used Progs in Start Menu

Does anyone know of a way to limit the number of recently used programs in the Start Menu?

Thanks,

I wish I did. You can clear them usingTweaks 2k2 Tweaks>System Tweaks>Clear Recent Prog. List. But the programs used in future will appear and you have to clear them again.

To limit the number of items displayed you must shorten the width of the Start Menu itself. The way to accomplish this is by changing the names of the items that you are displaying on the start menu. This is not very functional because Today, Programs, Settings, Find and Help must always be shown on the menu. These items will therefore hinder your success at limiting the number of recent programs shown. Your best bet may be a Start Menu replacement, such as that available in Wisbar Advanced.
