CF or SD larger than 1GB

Can a x50 handle an sd or cf card larger than 1GB? If so, what's the limit as far what it can read? I'm seeing cf and sd cards going to 4GB (amazing). Thanks!

1gig is the official limit for SD cards, however some people have reported using a 2gig without problems. I don't know what the limit is supposed to be for CF cards. I run a 2gig microdrive, others use 4 or 5gig drives in the CF slot. Do not use a microdrive that came out of a music player.

i currently have a 2gb cf memory card in my X5 and since the X50 was the X5's replacement its probably safe to say the X50 will support them as well

I signed up to Dell's email list and received a $35 coupon. The Hitachi 6Gb is on for $265 from Dell w/$30 rebate and free shipping over $300. So I bought thw travel sync cable and power adapter (that's only $200 us for 6GB! you can't beat that!)

i use a 4Gig microdrive in mine. its is compact flash and i have had no issues with it. Howver, some people have reported losing data on their SD cards so you might want to keep that in mind.
