Worried Cluttered My Documents?

My "My Documents" folder on my x50v is cluttered with all sorts of junk. A few questions to deal with all the clutter:

1) I had all my Notes in there. Is there anyway to change the default place that notes are stored (perhaps in a sub-directory of My Documents?) so that New Notes and Synced notes go there?

2) I have a "dictionaries" folder. I didn't put it there. Can I get rid of it?

3) Those of you who use hitchiker...it puts a folder in there as well...what is the purpose of those files, and why aren't they in the program folder? Can I get rid of these?

4) Templates folder...do I need it? It's empty!

5) Lastly, Ostia (Pharos GPS software) put a whole bunch of junk in there too, can I move it, or does it need to stay there?

I know this was a lot of questions, pretty much describing my directory structure, but I would really love to know how to organize it all. My PDA is supposed to be organized not needing organization!!!!

Thanks!

I was sorry to see your question has gone unanswered since I have much the same query. I can answer a couple of your questions. The templates and dictionaries folders are part of the system so I wouldn't delete them.
My question was also about directory structure. I would like to know if there are any limits to directory structure that can be use with WM 2003se, i.e. a DOS root directory had a limited number of items or CD ISO has a limit to the directory depth?
I have had my x50v for almost 9 months and I have not been able to get it to Sync reliabiliy. I have gone through ActiveSync 3.7, 3.8, 4.0, and 4.1, and several hard resets. Other than the factory installed apps the only other program I have installed is Novell GroupWise PDA Connect Client 7.0 with field patch. When I try to ActiveSync it crashes with a memory fault and folder, sub-folders and files are lost on the Axim. I checked the availible memory is fine so I wondered if my directory structure may been the problem. In my"My Documents" folder I have 10 folders and 18 objects, the deepest sub-folder level is 3 below "My Documents" and I have a total of only 250 files.
Currently uninstalling ActiSync and performing a Cold Reset again!

Read these two posts, it tells you have to keep folders in My Documents, whether it's in Main memory or Storage cards. If you're using storage cards don't forget to delete the "ignore_my docs" file

Thanks,
Some very interesting reading. Unfortunately, my current Axim is being exchanged. I tried to do a hard reset and the contacts button didn't work.
