I don't believe it is scheduled to take effect until 2007 but it will require either an update or a registry hack (I assume the dates for the time change are somewhere in the registry, but have never looked for them)

Congress passed an energy bill that included extending Daylight Saving Time
Hmm. DST...Energy...DST...Energy

I guess President Bush didn't know one from the other then.

They are changing the daylight savings time to significantly reduce energy usage.

OK,never mind.I have cable internet now and could download 32MB in 5 minutes instead of 2 hours, but Dell will just say,"If you ever want the right time on your Axim again, buy an X52v(provided they start making X52's next year)They won't upgrade X30 users to WM5,they won't upgrade us to DST either."

Time changes

Just download and use SynchroTime from Dennis Grachov, here: http://gsoft.fromru.com I didn't think it worked until I watched the time on my clock change when I clicked Query Time Server, while I was online.

I highly doubt that you will need a ROM reflash.

P.S. Simply plug in your Axim, use Active Sync, and you should be good to go.
