for some reason, my Axim x5 (WM2003) just decided to Hard Reset.
I lost everything, when i tried to restore from backup, I got an error that the backup was invalid. In any case, I can start from scratch...
I updated and reinstalled my Socket CF card drivers, rebooted the entire network and tried to connect. Finally got through to the internet and to (a PC) the LAN. Can browse both with pIE and file explorer, with the only exception being my laptop from work.
I plug in the network address for the lap and get the error "The Network Path was not found." OK out of the window and a second one appears with "Network resource cannot be found or you do not have permission to access the network. Contact your network Administrator."
Well, I *AM* the Network Administrator :rolling:
and while I give my unconditional approval to access this computer (lap) it does not appear to be cooperating....
I've been through all the network setup tutorials - this item does not show up. Any ideas how to allow Network acces to my Laptop???
It communicates and syncs fine through the cradle and activesync, I just have no idea why it won't allow access to this machine.
