Wallpaper Issue

When I set a picture to be a wallpaper, the wallpaper image does not come out in full colour. the picture file stays fine, but the wallpaper image comes out dull.

can someone please help me out with this, thanks

Rather then use the today screen to "Use this pictures a background". Open the "Pictures" program that comes on your axim, find the picture you want to use and go Tools->Set as Today Wallpaper... On that screen you will be able to set the transparency level to what ever you want 0-100%. Enjoy!
