Has anyone received their x50v WM 5.0 upgrade yet?
Just wondering, has anyone received their WM 5.0 upgrade for the x50v yet?
Browsing through the forums all I've seen are delays in shipping.

Called customer care 2 days ago, the representative that I spoke with did calculate something and then recalculate that same thing again (or something else) :rolling: and finally told me that it will ship on the 7th!!
Now what she was calculating :exc: I have no idea

I ordered mine on Sept 21st, estimated ship date Sept 27th, then Dell with no reason cancelled on october 4th, reordered on october 5th new ship date Nov 14......

the email they sent me said the estimated ship date was 09/27, but that didnt happen. on my order status its still in "Pre Production" and the ship date is about 2000 years ago (01/01/0001)

Mine is definitely on order but I like Dells way of lying, when you select the item it says ships in 1-2 weeks and after you order it it has a ship date of over 1 month ... at least they should some time in the present be honest with their customers.
Mine says Ordered on 9/28/2005 and est ship date of 11/7/2005. We will see, by normal timings for my orders I should get it around the first week of next year.

My order was bumped to 11/7. I did a couple of Dell Chats and they both seemed a bit clueless. (back ordered was the response) But but gave the same timeframe for shipping - Oct 17 to the 21st. (but who really knows) I've heard around that there are a "few" bugs in WM5 - maybe Dell is trying to do some software workarounds before releasing it for the x50v - wouldn't that be a pleasent surprise. :)
