[QUOTE=tabten5]Enough of the lawyer jokes already; we aren't all bad. :hide:
Sorry, It was not meant as a joke! If this is what you have chosen to practice, you must take the good with bad. I would bet at least 95% of lawyers are scum sucking bottom dwellers and that is why it is so easy for them to point a finger and say lets sue. All you have to do is turn on the TV and see some lawyer saying I'll get you a lot of money for nothing, all you have to do is follow me. Quit trying to defend what you are and accept it!
A week ago everyone was ready to take action because the WM5 disk was not ready for release, and now you are ready to lead a pack of dummies into a lawsuit because it was released. Like I said before SCUM SUCKING BOTTOM DWELLERS!

I found WM5 to be just fine.. Its just microsoft buggyness in the first part as well as old apps not liking the new stuff soo much. Some 3rd party fixes and a few rom updates and the x50/51v's will be the best of show all over again. My friend still envys its ability and he does have the VGA HP. works as advertised and thats it. The x50v is just too darn sweet.

That's a fairly simplistic view on life and the law. In point of fact, I deal with company/commercial and private international law matters, and have no interest in whether or not you slipped on a loose paving slab, or whatever. Even those lawyers who do deal with personal injury claims, however, are simply providing a service that society wants. If society didn't want to sue people on those grounds, then those solicitors would be out of a job.

Wow! You were angry that WM5 was rushed, now you want the patches rushed?

You are correct. We the little people are so simplistic with our views!
At least I don’t have to spend time defending my profession, and I am proud of what I do!
If you can justify what you SCUM SUCKING BOTTOM DWELLERS do (other than coral a bunch of sheep to follow you) please let me know.

Don't know what you do, but as a lawyer I'm sure I can find creative ways to denigrate it. :)

But wouldn't that be considered slanderous, which would end up getting you in trouble by another lawyer? Let's face it, with the ever increasing number of fruitless slanderous lawsuites around today, you can't get mad at people for being a bit upset with lawyers. They have to even pass laws no a days against lawyers creating stupid lawsuites. Trust me, since there are more lawyers then doctors, things are going to get worse.

Well, I tell you all what, if I had a chance to go out with any of the female Assistant DA's on Law & Order on its last seasons, I would not mind cozying up to a lawyer.
Nothing wrong with using or being a lawyer. I imagine the people who hate them lost a custody fight or got reamed in a divorce settlement.
But we do need people to work in a rational manner to settle conflicts of interest, and to make sure anyone anywhere can look at a legal decision and see the logic behind that decision. That is the job of the legal profession. You may not agree with legal decisions but if you study it you will be able to see the logic of a decision.

I’m not a lawyer, but I'm neither for them nor against them. But the truth is we all need them, especially if you live in America where our Politicians are slowly taking away our Civil rights (Patriot act). I agree that lawyers are making our legal system a joke, and making life miserable for the rest of us. But we have to understand there are different classes of lawyers, the ones that are ruining it are the personal injury/general practice lawyers. Its like saying KIA is an awful car company its cars are awful therefore all car makers and their cars are awful, cant make that assumptions just cause of one classes.
Come on guys we are a community here to help each other out, not tear each other down.

Heartman777,
By all means agree to diasgree, but by my standards your last post, and the post before that, was unnecessarily aggressive, and rude. Please refrain from personalising things.
