just wondering if anyone has tried wm5 and the 'locked' microdrives from the carbons/muvo2s/micros.

do they work? or is it as unworkable as in 2003se?

if it does (which i doubt) ima get me a couple of these cheap microdrives!

Forget locked Microdrives - I'm having problems getting WM5 to recognize my regular Hitachi 4GB drive. Had no problems at all under 2003se, but WM5 seems to regularly "lose" the Microdrive, and I have to soft-reset to get it back.

Considering the various other problems I'm having, I'm very close to chucking WM5 and rolling back to 2003se.
