Exclamation Sending back my WM5 Upgrade!

What a piece of junk and a huge waste of my time. I spent 2 days trying to make this work and found nothing but problems.

Especially with 1-Pass (http://www.omegaone.com/pass/default.htm)
It caused the whole thing to lock up, asking for the Windows Mobile password (of which none was set). Had to to a HARD RESET to clear everything out.

Re-installed WM5 and ActiveSync again, and tried to use Pocket Informant (release for WM5). It kept producing Windows errors.

WM2003 was working just fine with no problems. What a huge waste of time. Save yourself, Don't upgrade til they get it right.

I agree. I put WM5 out of its misery tonight and went back to 2003se. The Axim seems like a speed demon now, compared to the crippled, arthritic beast it was while trying to run WM5.

Maybe they'll get it right a ROM or two down the line.

installed the downgrade

Did a Full Restore to my previous WM2003

I am so much happier. I have so much more appreciation for it now that I tried and failed miserably with WM5. It is so nice that it actually works!

I would hang on to the CDs for when the proper upgrades are available or you might regret misplacing them or sending them back.
You have already spent your 2 cents and I do not accept credit
