An assortment of Windows Mobile 5 Questions
I've been lurking the Windows Mobile 5.0 threads for a while; and still have a few questions that have gone unanswered.
I'm using the Axim X50 for general class purposes (found it to be an easier alternative than toting around a laptop with limited battery life). Currently, I'm using NoteM for recording class lectures; the benefit is recording into mp3 format therefore, can record for extended periods of time and allows me to save the output file directly onto my CF card. I'm looking to maintain these features... Will I be able to continue using NoteM if I upgrade to WM5, or is there an alternative that still records to MP3 and allows to store directly onto removable memory? I'm also looking at TextMaker for word processing as I'm not too fond of Pocket Word. The PW seems basic; in my typed notes, I usually have bulleted text on multiple levels. It's just my quirky way of organization... Is pocket word improved in WM5, or is it still a very basic word processor as shipped with Windows Mobile 2003? Allowing emails to be stored directly onto removable storage cards, instead of built-in storage would be nice. Is this a possibility now with Pocket Outlook? Finally: as I am nearing the end of my degree, and am in the process of starting my own business, I've created an Access Database that allows me to maintain customer information, invoicing, inventory, etc. I presently do not see a way to access and modify this database while on the road... Is perhaps, Pocket Access included in WM5? And while not a WM5 question; is there a program I can use now, to view and update my database records using Windows Mobile 2003? Thanks for your help! ![]() | |||
