OzVGA and WM5

I just found that OzVGA works fine under WM5, the way it works for me was just executing the OzVGA.exe program without Copying any of the dll files, just running the exe program, hope this works for others as well.....:approve:

It works, but it seems to make my startup from a soft-reset take twice as long. I do have quite a few missing icon unfortunately, but it's only from the settings folder.

He's using weatherpanel for the weather. I used to use it but the developers missing in action for several months. the app still works but I switched to sbsh pocketweather which is very similar in features and also shows recent earthquakes !

I tried to install OzVGA on WM5 x50v. did a simple switch to true vga, and then all my fonts/icons were screwed up. did a soft reset and just got stuck at the dell screen with spinning "hourglass".

so i had to hard reset. :(

The problem is probably you copied the ozvga dll files to the windows directory, it happend to me, but once you hard reset your unit just run the ozvga.exe

Yes, happened to me also. DONT !.. copy the DLL files if your running wm5. just copy the exe and run that. the DLL files will lock you up and force you to do a hard reset.

What about the input panels, the icons on the start bar and the control panel icons? Without the DLLs they don't display correctly.
