In the process of upgrading to wm5 now....
Its formatting the flash memory now, I think this is the last step.
I've read numerous complaints on this OS and thought I would give it a shot. After my last hard reset I copied over everything in BIS to my SD card to get ready for wm5. I did a backup (the one built into wm2003) first, then I did a hard reset. With the axim sitting at the first screen after the hard reset I installed activesync 4, rebooted, then started up the upgrade rom setup. While I was typing this it finished and my x50v is now sitting at the first screen in wm5. I will update this thread in a few minutes. (I believe doing a hard reset first and clearing everything is the best way to upgrade)

Ya, I should have, there is alot of other threads isn't there
![]() Since this one is here I will list the software that I loaded. Everything is back up and running on my axim like the way it was before. After I did what I posted above I started installing apps. Here is what I installed: (latest version of everything) eWallet Mapopolis TomTom GSPlayer (Some small text issues when opening files) Resco File Explorer TCPMP WiFi Graph X50Mix GroupWise PDA Connect SP1 won't work MorphGear won't work I have no other problems. Speed is actually the same as WM2003 for me. Maybe the people who are getting slow load times are using one of those advanced calendar/weather apps? No complaints here at all! BTW I like the PIE and the wireless drivers.
