Wifi wont work after WM5 upgrade..
OK, i'm not sure if its really a WM5 upgrade problem, or just me not fully knowing how to get it going. BUT, when I installed WM5, i can no longer connect to my actual network at home. I've connected to a local network in my town houses, but i cant connect to mine. It's not my router, its my roommates, and i'm not that experienced with wireless anyways.
I know it has WEP on, and i have the password for it, which is on key 1. I just dont know why it wont go. I've tried loads of the different ways, yet I dont really know why it wont go. Anyone got any ideas onto why this could be? It happened to me one time before too when i did a hard reset on WM2003SE. I dont remember how i got it going the first time. Thanks, hopefully someone has an idea on normal settings.

Is the key exactly 10 or 26 character's long? If not, then you need to get the correct version of the key (hexidecimal). When you enter it, make sure you type it correctly. All the things that look like 1 are ones and the 0 are zeros (there are no L's or o's in hex keys).

I'm having a similar problem with WPA-PSK connections. I can enable wireless, but it won't connect. However, if I soft reset (without turning off wifi), when the unit comes back up, I will be immediately connected.
I have an Ax X50-mid that was upgraded. Since downgraded to 2003SE again, as I need wifi and having to soft reset in the middle of everything I am doing is too much of a pain.

I have the problem that my Axim won't connect to my wireless network unless I am in the same room with the router. This is after the upgrade. Before the upgrade I could use it all over the house, the yard, etc. Its like the upgrade reduced the range.

I solved my problem though, thanks guys.
I had an old text file with what i thought was the router info on it, yet the password had been changed. I was entering a 26 digit code, when it was a 10 digit code, and now it works perfectly fine. r8derhed5150, why do you ask if I'm from the bay? I'm from Guelph Ontario.
