Worried WM5 and Third Party Apps

All,
I am just about ready to give the WM5 upgrade at try on my x50V. As I was preparing I got to wondering how the upgrade of ActiveSync hands the third party software. I don't want to just automatically reinstall all of my third party software; but do it a piece at a time. I guess what I am asking is that if I install ActiveSync 4.0 (and don't uninstall my old version) and then upgrade to WM5 will I end up with just the "standard" apps and no additional one. Thanks.

Upgrading to WM5 will just install the the apps that come with the Dell version of WM5 (e.g., Pocket WORD, Pocket Internet Explorer, Pocket Pocket Powerpoint - new!, etc.). Everything else you will need to manually reinstall. Take a look at the WM5 compatibility thread for some guidance:
