Anyone get their GPS working through WM5's "managed" configuration?

WM5 has a new feature where it can manage your GPS connections by talking to your GPS hardware on one port than then allowing multiple applications to access the GPS stream through a virtual port. I'm put my bluetooth gps on hardware port com7 and set the application port to be com0. I run Tom Tom 5.1 and it can't sense a GPS on com0. If I set it to com7, it sees it, but of course this defeats the whole purpose of having WM5 managing the GPS connection. Is it something with Tom Tom?

Anyone got this managed feature to work?

Nope... just don't use it. especially if you use Garmin Que and a GPS10 bluetooth. Garmin has a fix that will get it to work already posted here on aximsite

It is EXACTLY as what happening with my BT GPS receiver and iGuidance v2.0 combo.

Nothing wrong with TT, as my iGuidance does that too. And I concur, this defeats the whole purpose of having WM5 using so-called virtual ports.
