Downgrading

I have searched the forum and wasn’t able to find instructions on how to go back to wm2003se. I have an old ROM update for wm2003se, would this do it? I’m desperate at this point, WM5 is by far the worst product Microsoft has ever put out (and that’s saying something) Its like they threw this thing together in a matter of weeks, the only thing I like about this pathetic excuse for a PPC OS, is the fact MS finally got there heads out there @#$ and fixed the way activesync synchronizes tasks. In previous WM the task reminder time wouldn’t sync, it would default to 8:00am on the PPC regardless of what it was in outlook. At least in WM5 they fixed it, but that is only on pro in a long list of cons.

Sorry for the rant, just frustrated. Please let me know if you can help with the downgrade.

Thanks.

Here are links to the utilities from Dell to downgrade. MAKE SURE THAT THE DOWNLOAD PAGE SHOWS THE CORRECT MODEL OF YOUR DELL (X50 OR X50V)!

I can't thank you enough, i looked all over and couldn't find it.

It sucks that I'm out the $40 but hopefully MS will release an update soon to fix what is the worst OS disaster since Windows ME.

Thanks again!!!

Does anyone know how we could make this thread a "sticky". There seems to be alot of people looking to roll back, and I think these links could be helpful to everyone.
