Copying files from \windows folder

How would i copy
\windows\browsres.dll to my SD card?
(file name is just and example)
I always get a msg that i can't copy filrs from ROM.

The error message tells all. I'm pretty sure that you can't copy files that are held in ROM.

so how would we extract all the DLL's needed for OzVGA?
(I was going to try to copy them from a QVGA Device Emulator image.
But copying doesn't work on it, nor on a readl device)
You can't copy them from the windows folder then.

Rename browsres.dll to browsres then copy it locally on you PPC using explorer then after you copy it, rename it to browsres.dll.. You will get some warning regarding copying to ROM but it should work.
I have done it this way with no problems.

I kept getting access denied using Active Sync but locally I did it.

I tried it localy via resco & file explorer.
It won't let you copy/rename/move/compress files from rom :(
