Here they are. I Move it to wherever its needed rather than Copy it. You've 2 options as indicated below.

Adobe Reader Install in SD Card:
• Copy MUITEST.EXE.0409.MUI to
\My Device\SD Card\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 2.0\Reader\
• Rename MUITEST.EXE.0409.MUI to
ACRORD32.EXE.0409.MUI

Adobe Reader Install in \Windows:
• Copy MUITEST.EXE.0409.MUI to
\My Device\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 2.0\Reader\
• Rename MUITEST.EXE.0409.MUI to
ACRORD32.EXE.0409.MUI

If not sure, post back.

Thank you Blutrane, I dragged and dropped and AvantGo is perfect now. It all seems so simple, can't understand why I didn't get it before. I was clicking setsecurity on the desktop...DUH! Guess they don't teach these things in business school!

56xdriver, I had the same problem with overlapping text -as well as huge font and double spacing- Blutrane's solution will totally fix that issue.

I love this site for all the informantion and solutions. Thank you all you guys out there with patience for people like me who know next to zero about things like mui's and exe's etc... Now, let me go read up some more on how to solve that disappearing CF card issue.

Does this disable the pixel doubling of images in PIE on WM5 or will Tweaks2k2 do this? That is the one area of PIE in WM5 that annoys me!

No, unfortunately this hack only works on programs that are not already VGA aware. All the programs that come with OS (i.e.: PIE, Word, Excel, PP) are already VGA aware; so this hack will have no effect on them.

Shame. Any other way of stopping pixel doubling of images in WM5 IE?

Actually I think I've noticed that sometimes PIE will downsize the images. It seems as if PIE prefers to pixel double the images but will squeeze the image down if it needs to. But when it does make the image smaller it does use the full VGA resolution -- it is not downsampling the image and then upsampling the result to put QVGA on a VGA screen. This is my impression on what is going on.

bah screw PIE.

i started using netfront instead. i found it to be slow but that changed when i turned off the cashing. Also it looks beautiful when you turn the font to Tahoma w/ truetype on.

now all i need to do is find a better msn client. one that allows filetransfers :)
does anyone else find that the msn client in WM5 is less stable then in 2003 se?

I need help. my english is not very well, but i'm tryin to descripe my problem:
I have installes Acrobar Reader on my x51v then i make
step 1 ( download on to your device (axim) setsecurity.exe and
run it )
and
step 2 ( select the option 'Security Prompt Off' (yay no more
security prompts when installing apps) )

after all i copy the file: AcroRd32.exe.0409.mui in the directory where AcroRd32.exe is and start AcroRd32.exe. but nothikg happen.. :/

I ran the setsecurity.exe and then copied in the 409.mui (for AvantGo) and I still can't get it. I did the tools options checkbox procedure with no results. However i am using an x 50v w/ wm2003se. Has anybody with WM2003SE made this work on AvantGo?? Is there a possibility that the name of the 409 is case sensitive?? Could the capital G be a problem

I believed by not installing setsecurity beforehand ... the installation of your acrobat was not a successful one ...

setsecurity should been installed BEFORE any software installations ... when you have your machine fresh .... set it once ( turn the prompt OFF ).. never bother with it again .

...oh ... and along with that ... you should also go into the settings menu and disable the "error reporting" too !!!

setsecurity was designed to prevent software installation from asking for the cetificate ... by you running it after the software already installed really defeat the purpose ... I'd suggest you uninstall... and reinstall the software and see.

BTW ... I see that you'd mentioned you're on WM2003se ... setsecurity was meant for users of WM5 only .... WM2003 don't have this problem ... why are you even messing with it ??
