I ran ScaryBear Software Check Notifications and WM5 appears to have the same issue that WM2003 had. It keeps a long record of notification history and, at least with WM2003, can use up a ton of memory and make the device unusable.
I got TodayPlus working on my device, but have had gray-screen on power-up a couple times, but at least soft reset took care of it.
With WM2003SE, I always had 7. With WM5, I have 42. Any notification that has NONE in the EVENT TYPE column can be deleted and should disappear if you use the clear_notify.exe program.

Hi,
I have the same problem with huge number of notifications on my x51v. I tried using the check notifications prog from scarybear but have not managed to sucessfully remove any of the duplicates.
Did you manage to remove any? It's very irrritating as one of my alarms got duplicated and it just keeps on ringing. I tried memmaid and it shows no duplicated alarms... sigh...
Memmaid sees no duplicates. Yet my calendar events will not wake up my x51v. They will trigger once i start the unit. That's even with the "Wake up PPC to full power mode" tweak.
Battery Back Pro "Power Alert" features don't work either, for ALL events (Alarms and notifications).
Only the built-in Alarms work fine (and that's without volume control)

Any fixes out there?
MemMaid search for "exact" matches, maybe there is a bug in WM5 that duplicates the notification with a small change and that's why MemMaid doesn't report them as duplicates.
Did you try looking at the entries yourself ?
Using MemMaid, switch to the notification queue tab and look at them, each time you select an entry, more information about this entry will be displayed at the bottom window.

Notification queue window is totally empty. I suspect the issue is not related to the queue since my reminders never woke up the ppc, not even after a hard reset.
Like I said in the previous post, though: only delete the ones that have NONE in the EVENT TYPE column. Otherwise you can cause your device not to sync at all, which requires a hard reset to fix.
To delete, you need to tap and hold on each line and a delete option will pop up.
Try check Notification Queue with SKTools, SKTools can auto find and mark for delete duplicate records. Strange on all our WM2005 devices we not have this bug like WM2003, maybe only Axim have it...
I have this exact same problem on my X51v... All my pop-ups and sounds for Calendar and Task Events have stopped working? I've checked every setting I can think of and everything seems to be in order, but still no notifications.
Has anyone been able to resolve this?
Thanks!
