Pocket Quicken help???
Okay, I upgraded to Mobile 5 -- and now I can't get Pocket Quicken to sync with my Quicken account at all -- not even the first time. Tried reinstalling numerous times, without firewall, without anti-virus, etc. etc. I keep getting the message
Pocket Quicken Connect Version 2.56 (build 0083) Sync starting at 11:39 PM 11/6/2005 Rapi initialized. Ensuring helper is installed Communications failure - result code 3f8/19 (this probably means that the device could not be found) However, active-sync can find my device. Maybe it's looking for Pocket_PC device name instead of WM device name (but I can't get that to change either -- tried renaming on device, deleting connection and restablishing connection -- it likes the name it picks. Any help would be appreciated! I also re-installed PocketWeatherToday (stocksandweathertoday). It installed & synced ONCE. After that Active-Sync wouldn't work at all -- just hang trying to connect. After I uninstalled it Active-Sync works again... GROAN....

According to Landware's site, "Windows Mobile 5 devices are not yet supported". I'm awaiting a compatibility upgrade myself.

Possible fix!

Please visit http://www.landware.com/wm5/ for the current status of Windows Mobile 5 compatibility. There's an update there which I downloaded an installed (about 5 minutes ago) and it synched (loaded my accounts)! It puts a new user ID, so I just contacted them for a new activation code. Haven't had time to put it through the paces yet, but so far so good. They're also requesting feedback about new upgrade -- so apparently it's a work in progress -- but at least there's progress!
