Is Windows CE 5 the same as Windows Mobile 5

I sometimes see programs saying support for windows CE 5. So is it the same as Windows Mobile 5?

No they're not the same. Win CE 5 is the kernel that the Windows Mobile 5 GUI runs on. Chances are that a WIN CE 5 proggrams won't run on WM5.

Which program did you have in mind kcjchan?

It was minimo as I need a browser that supports popups on WM5 since my school network requires a popup to stay authenticated. Are there other browsers supporting popups and works on WM5?
Thanks!

Where does one find the preview version? I'd like to try out NetFront but so far can't find a download for WM5? Currently I do not own a copy of NF -- is the "beta" for free for now?

@ kcjchan ... sometimes ...if a link you click makes netfront crashed ... it will work if you hold down the link for the pop up menu & choose to "open the link in new window" will work better ... it's just one of the bug of the BETA version
