mNotes 4.1 for WM5 released!

I just installed it with WM5 today - works fine - having to do manual updates as I cannot seem to get it to work automatically. In ActiveSync I do not have a checkbox for it to synch like I do for files, favorites, etc. Might need to uninstall and reinstall. Hoping that Commontime will post some more info. - I also notice that the IP address for mNotes changed to 169.254.2.2 from the 192.168.55.100 like it was in v4.0

Unfortunately, I'm on the same boat. I have to replicate manually.
I've sent the CommonTime folks some notes on what's going on with my Axim. Seems like they changed something in their install package.. went from 04.01.00.01 to 04.01.00.03. Neither solves my problem. At least I can carry my Notes data with me.. hopefully they'll fix the rest of the problems soon. | ||||

I show in one place that I have v4.0.1.00.02 and in another place v4.1.0.176. I just downloaded it this AM from the link above. Automatic replication while in the cradle is a "must have." But, like you, at least I do have the rest of the Notes data that I need.

I just bought a Axim X51v with WM 5 and I can't get mNotes to sync my calendar or address book, I'm on Notes 6. I was using a WM 2003 machine previously and mNotes worked great but now the most important functions don't work. I upgraded to the latest version of mNotes last night and a couple of interesting things happen, first I now get an Activesync synchronization error on mNotes, second is that I use the mNotes mCenter to monitor and replicate and although it shows that I am connected it also shows little red x's next to my calendar and contacts and it won't sync them. Anyone have any ideas?

Find ActivSync v4.1. It is not an official release yet. There is a link to it somewhere on the forum - try the Software/ActivSync section. Then uninstall mNotes, install ActivSync v4.1, then reinstall mNotes and see if that cures the problem. Make sure that you have the very latest version of mNotes - download from the link in the first post.

Nope, I see the same thing - I have sent two emails to CommonTime about the problem and have not received a response. I love mNotes, but the lack of automatic syncing may force me back to another program.

4.1 not released
I called Commontime earlier in the week. They advised that they do not currently have a supported version of mNotes to work with Windows Mobile 5.0. I was told they have a version that they are beta testing internally which should be released sometime this week (week of November 21) 4.0 is the only supported versoin currently available.

We are just putting the finishing touches to a new release of mNotes 4.1 for Windows Mobile 5 devices. This new release will support 'auto replicate on connect', 'push' via the ActiveSync connection, 'attachment download on demand' and a number of other features that were not included in the initial release. If you would like to be notified by e-mail when this new release becomes available, please send an e-mail message to support@commontime.com with the subject "mNotes for WM5 - please notify me"
