Activesync always on?

I'm running Wisbar Adv on my upgraded x50, and it appears ActiveSync is almost always running in the background--even after a soft reset. Anyone else notice this? Not sure if I care, really, but still...

I am in the same boat, I see it connecting, but don't really care. If it was Wifi, and it kept turning on my adapter, then that would piss me off. Of course I miss Wifi Activesync. Those were the days... :(

I use a Magic Button. Even though I close all the programs, I see activesync running on my x51v when I turn it on. (not connected to the pc or cradle) Is this strange behaviour of activesync causing the annoying CF/SD disappearnce and Power On problem? ( I got a replacement. And it gives me the same problems. I don't use any today plug-ins.)
