WM 5 keeps forgetting my Microdrive...

Hi, I've got a HITACHI 6GB Microdrive MD6GBBP in my X50 PDA. I've also just recently upgraded to WM5, and there's a problem.

The thing keeps forgetting that I've got the Microdrive. I can't find it using File explorer, and pulling the drive out & putting it back in doesn't help either. The only thing that I find that works, is doing a soft reset.

Does anyone else have similar troubles with WM5? Or perhaps have any idea where I might go for some sort of solution?

Thanks in advance...

Kevin

I don't suppose you get direct to any of them, or suggest search terms. And just to clarify, this microdrive worked just fine with the Win mobile that came with my PDA. The problem involves the Win mobile 5 OS.

Try the WM5 forum. Or search for WM5 and memory card or microdrive, etc.
The problem happens to many people that leave their memory cards in and need to soft reset to see them again.

There are threads all over the x51 forums discussing this, too.
