WM5 & CF card
I have been having troubles with my X50v's 512 MB CF card after installing WM5. I'd have to soft reset to have my device "see" the card after the unit was powered off for a while.
Yesterday, I plugged the CF card into a computer that has a CF slot, and noticed the card was formatted as FAT16. I reformatted the card as FAT32, and have had no problems since. My X50v can see the card now, even after being powered down all night. I hope this is a persistent fix!

I haven't had the problem since I followed this page.
http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...light=wm5+stay I did the registry hack for the unload thing and I did the active sync thing. I am assuming that the unload registry value thing was what fixed it, but I cannot be sure since I did both those tweaks at the same time and haven't had any problems since.

I'm not exactly sure as to why it worked, but since I did it my Axim has no trouble finding my CF card anymore.
Basically, I went into my System>Memory right after a soft reset & took a look at my CF & SD cards. After that, my Axim hasn't forgotten either card. Why? Don't know, don't care. Kevin
