I know this sounds stupid but is one supposed to close media player? There is no option in the program and then when I use the switcher bar, I get an error message before it closes. Is there a cleaner way to close this program?

minimize it. I'm not sure if the switcher bar has a minimize feature although it should, but minimizing the program will leave it running in the background like all programs would do naturally.

I do minimize it but I would like to close it all together when I dont intend in using it in a while so that I can improve battery life and performance.
