Where I should install program in WM5 (ROM or Cards) for X50v?
In 2003SE, the best place to install the program is the sd card or cf card.
In WM5, where is the best place to install the program since WM5 changes the persistance?

Even with persistent memory, it seems to me that - for whatever reason - your Axim suddenly decides to brick on you (hey, it happens with any technology), having stuff imbedded on the brick won't be very helpful to you.
Granted, stuff in the PDA memory should access faster than that on the removable card, but I guess its a matter of priority to you.

I installed tons of applications on my 1GB (now left with 0.5 GB) SD card and works well. The only things I installed on BIS is eWallet, an alarm clock program, Battery pack. Everything works fine with no sign of being slow. :approve:

OK, I'll plead stupidity...how did you install to your SD card? In previous versions of WM2003, etc AS gave an option for installation location. Now with my X51v it automatically installs everything to BIS. Is there an easy way to redirect the installation?

On the x50 before the application installs there is a dialog that pops up on the Axim asking if you want to install to internal memory or to a card. Is it different on the x51?

Unless I have missed something, the box never shows up in AS 4.x when I try to install software on the X51. I know I saw some thoughts on how to overcome that in a post somewhere but I can't remember which topic it was under.
