WM5 - Impossible to Sync Calendar

Hello everyone.

I just upgraded my X50v to WM5 and boy do I regret it: it is impossible for me to get ANY appointment from Outlook on my laptop Windows 2000 PC down to my Axim.

Everything else syncs fine: tasks, contacts, mail, files. But for appointments, NOTHING. Of course, I checked that ActiveSync was set to sync ALL appointments, then I reinstalled ActiveSync, I also tried setting up a new partnership. Still doesn't work.

It's as if ActiveSync couldn't see the appointments in Outlook.

The strange thing is that if I add a new appointment on my Axim, THAT will sync with Outlook on the PC. But not the other way around.

Any solutions?

Check your settings to see if AcivtSync is set to put new things from your ppc to the comp, and not the other way around. What version of Outlook do you have?

Hard reset then sync again, worked for me .

Guys, I tried everything and found the solution: roll backe to WM2003SE. My Axim now works like a dream again.

I had the same problem for over a week. It worked on AS 4.0 and I upgraded to the beta vs of 4.1; it worked for a day or so and stopped. yesterday I downloaded the official version of 4.1 and it worked the first time. Give WM5 and the new AS 4.1 a try.

I've googled for AS4.1 and havent found it, do you have a link?
