Can't Restore Backup. HELP!!

Ok, new to the crowd so I will say HI first. Now here is my dilemma. Like so many others went and installed both the AS4 and WM5 on my X50. Everything had gone well until I tried to load my backup file on my x50 to reload all my info. To my surprise when I synced up to my laptop and tried to restore I could not get the Restore/Backup option to appear in my tools menu. Has anyone else run into this problem and if so could you give me a hand getting it to work?

I have tried installing and re-installing active sync several times, performed a hard rest on my X50 and just about anything I could think of to get this to work already. I’m out of ideas. HELP!!!

If no one has a good way of restoring my information can someone instruct me on how to roll back my system to my previous operating system, at least that worked?

you have save all your files on the computer (not your back up cards )i had the same wm5 does not see the back up cards.and you can roll back to 2003 go to the dell site put r111630 in the search it will take you to the set up.
