The new WM5 Calendar
I am new to the entire Axim handehled thing, i just got a axim x51v and I am dissapointed in the calendar. what happened to all the color coding that windows ce 2003 had, My friends (axim x50 ce2003) calendar is so much more user friendly.
So when I see my weekly schedual, there are only blue blocks that occupy the days. This is extemely annoying because I have to click on each one to remember what i'm scheduled for. But in WM2003 it was color coded and you could change the colors. Anyone have any suggestions???

Yeah I'm really interested in getting this too!
On my Palm, my events were color coded based on the category. This is really important to keep my different responsibilities in order. Can anyone find an option or 3rd party software to do this in WM5?

I believe the only place you can set the color is in Outlook. If you edit the appointment, there's a "Label" field on the up right-hand side that you can use to set the color it will appear in outlook. Those colors and labels are customizable.
I beleive that under WM5, it's using the "Show Time As" field to color the item, which are not customizable as far as I could tell. This was a great feature, because I color code my appoints for the client I was sub-contracting for. But once again, M$ has removed an extremly useful function, probably in the name of making the OS "more user friedly" (ie. dumbed down...)

This is just retarted, even pocket informant doesn't have color in wm5, i just got it. and doesn't have the vertical block view as the regular outlook calendar, and the original calendar in wm5.
what the hell were they thinking. I don't want my lunch hour and meeting with a client to look all blue, ONE COLOR. the I gotta keep clicking the stupid block to figure out what appointment i got next. color is so much more useful, or atleast the block should include inside it what the appointment is, ie kinda like in the middle of the block or something!!! what the hell is MS thinking, I know that palm has this feature, so don't even talk about user friendly, and Palm is supposedly user friendly.

You have 4 color choices based on what you select under "Status". White, light and dark blue, and purple. I asked this same question in another thread, but go no replies. Being able to customize would be nice.
