Another Successful WM5 Upgrade

I just wanted to report that my WM5 upgrade cd arrived in today's mail. I couldn't stand it. I had to perform the upgrade. I was a little bit worried after hearing some of the horror stories but I am happy to report that the upgrade went off without a hitch. I consider myself lucky. I just read/followed the instructions to a T and had no problems. I was very much overly paranoid but it worked out to my advantage. Good luck to everyone else!

Are you using AS 4.0 or the new 4.1? Just wondering... Thanks and keep us posted on how it goes.

Well, many people had problems upgrading, but many people also had problems with the OS itself after they successfully upgraded, so prepare yourself for all the drawbacks of 5.0. You're not out of the woods yet, Little Red Riding Hood.

Thanks for the good cheer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed here that everything will stay running smooth. I realize that many people have had problems after the install so I dunno. I realize I'm not out of the woods just yet but I am excited to have at least got this far.

Awesome deal Nowire. I've been reading your tale of happiness for a few days now. I'm happy to hear that someone else is running as smooth as I am. Good job!
